No time?- adjust priorities

I recently had time to share my thoughts about finding time in a tight life schedule. Generally speaking, I discovered that I have time for everything. It’s priorities I got wrong. Or in some cases wanted too much.

Imagine this. I nagged that I have no time to write about all the exciting things I did. Ok… I was focusing on a lot of things. Too much gaming. Too much wasted time on irrelevant activities. When I listed all the things that were taking up my time I drew conclusions.

Now I have time for personal development, playing with my son, gym 3 times a week… and still finding time to play some games. Sweet!

You can read more on the subject of prioritization in my Medium article: https://medium.com/@kasajna/no-time-its-time-to-revisit-your-priorities-4b7ab993bd6d

TL;DR

Prioritization methods:
- Eisenhower Matrix (sort tasks by urgency & importance),
- ABCDE Method (label tasks A-E based on importance),
- Ivy Lee Method (create a list of 6 daily priorities),
- Time-Value Prioritization (evaluate tasks by time-to-complete & benefit),
- MoSCoW Method (classify tasks as Must/Should/Could/Won't-have),
- 80/20 Rule (focus on the crucial 20% of tasks yielding 80% results),
- 1–3–5 Rule (organize daily workload with 1 major, 3 medium, and 5 small tasks).
